When Can I Get Started?
Right away! 

After you sign up, we will send you an intake form to get the information we need to calculate your calories and macronutrient targets to reach your goal. We will send you an email with these numbers and instructions for how to use them to take action. 

You will also get a link to set up an initial meeting with your coach at your convenience.

If you sign up for the annual plan, we will also immediately send  your 24 easy-to-prepare meal prep recipes so that you can start prepping some delicious meals! 

Once the group opens up on June 11th, you will be able to check out our resource library, submit questions and sign up for our office hours, start the weekly check in process, and join our monthly practices.

What if I've Never Counted Macros Before?
No problem! We will send you an introductory document with your numbers that includes videos that will quickly walk you through the process.

What if I Already Count my Macros?
No problem either! You can charge ahead with your current macros if they're working and let us know when you're ready for a revision. You will still get plenty of value out of the group by getting questions answered live in our office hours, staying accountable with weekly goal setting, and continuing to build your base with our monthly practices!

What if I Want to Lose Fat, Gain Muscle, and Improve Performance At the Same Time?
They're not mutually exclusive, so we can work on them all at the same time BUT you won't make super fast progress in any one direction WHICH IS FINE! We take a long-term focus here so as long as you're happy with slow and steady progress let us know in your intake form and we will make sure to set your numbers accordingly!

How Does Office Hours Work?
Every week we will post a link to the live office hours which will rotate times to accommodate multiple time zones, but most frequently occur at 9pm EST.

The office hours will be held on a platform called Crowdcast which doesn't require any software downloads to join. You can submit a question ahead of time, or submit questions live during the event. We will read off questions in the order they are asked, and if your question is being answered and we see you are live on the call, we will "call you up" so you have the opportunity to get face-to-face coaching!  

If we make it through all the questions, we tend to call up any live attendees and will ask you the questions to identify opportunities for improvement, and coach you through how to implement them.

What if I Can't Make Office Hours Live?
All good! You should still submit your question and we will still answer it live and post the replays in the group. Crowdcast "tags" the video where each question is asked and answered, so you will easily be able to find yours on the replay without having to skip around the video or watch the whole thing.  

Will My Question Get Answered During Office Hours?
So far, we have managed to answer every question during office hours. If this changes we will add office hour times.

How Do Weekly Check Ins Work?
Each week you will publicly state on the weekly check in discussion in your group what single behavior you are making your laser focus for the week. At the end of each week, you will update us with how you did last week, and what you will change and commit to next week.   

These discussions will be broken up by goal so that fat loss people see fat loss behaviors, performance see performance behaviors, and mass gain see mass gain behaviors. You can draw inspiration from others with similar goals.  

Beyond Macros coaches will monitor these discussions, comment and ask questions to help you get clear, and make sure everyone is on the right track. We also provide some sample habits that have helped our clients that you can choose from. 

You also have the benefit of community. Other members will weigh in if they've had the same experience, and we've found the community support provides some of the most unique and useful suggestions so far! 

What is a Monthly Practice?
The Monthly practices are like a challenge, but different. Challenge implies that it's hard and after the challenge period you will stop doing it. A practice is something you do to create a strong foundation in your pursuit of a goal. It is a skill you develop for life.

Each monthly practice is designed to help you develop a foundational nutrition skill as a part of creating your long-term transformation. By acquiring these skills each month, you are creating an insurance plan against "falling off the wagon". 

At the beginning of each month, I will upload a video discussing how to complete the monthly practice each day, the importance of the monthly practice, and how it fits into the bigger picture, plus some tips for how to make it easier on you.

When you commit to the monthly practice, you can discuss how it is going, ask questions, and see where other people are having successes & struggles. At the end of each month you will reflect on the practice and share how you will integrate the lessons moving forward.

How Much Time Do I Need to Commit?
The amount of time it takes is totally up to you. You can regularly participate in the group, or do the bare minimum (hopefully you'll go all-in!). At a minimum, expect to invest (per week):

1-hour on Office Hours Calls
